- Use netapp for paths rather than Z
- Text edit the .MA file to remove absolute path names
- For 1kb EXR files: specify a render dir (expert mode)
- If certain frames are failing (i.e. rendering in a few seconds but empty), check which machine(s) it is occurring on and exclude them (in expert mode, under “hosts”) when re-submitting your render job
- Make sure you are using the correct version of Maya for Vray (currently Maya 2013). For Cube you can check this in the standard output from your rendered frame. This can be set in Cube in expert mode, under “Maya executable”)
