BG: Shot setup for backgrounds
Part I: Scene build

    1. Set your project. (We will set the project to the main project drive to use central textures and caches, but save the shot files locally on a parallel directory structure on your Z drive)
    2. Open the Lighting setup in Maya, and "save as" to the name of your shot using the proper naming conventions (see the naming conventions help document). This will give you the ground plane, cameras, lights, and passes.
    3. Check the env toggles column on the Shots page of Shotgun, and turn the display layer toggles on.
    4. Setup the GI based on the Static Pass Rendering documentation
    5. Set the camera and frame range, in the render settings.
    6. Determine camera distance and fill out in zdepth pass (see Proper DOF settings for details on setting this up)
